I have learned din this module that if we as instructors know the online structure and policies for quizzes and exams as well as knowing how to navigate and know how to solve simple technology issues. The students will not be so frustrated and will not drop out of the classes and will have high retention.

To understand grading and all online platform before the class.  Know the material to be delivered to the class.

I learned the importance to be very familiar with CMS. Students should feel very comfortable when surfing through the materials posted.

I learned how important the structure of the program can be, as well as making sure the students know I am available for support.

I've learned to be more patient and open minded to the adult learner using discussion and announcement's .  Responding to the adult learners input within a timely manner.

This module has definitely impressed me with the need to be an expert in all aspects of the e-learning environment that we provide.

The reminder of the importance of a student orientation that is comprehensive for learner function within the CMS/LMS.  I think once the orientation has been created it is easy to forget that it needs to be continuously evaluated, regardless of if any changes to content or CMS have occurred.

Familiarize myself with the CMS from beginning to end in order to provide a successful learning environment for my students.

I like the orientation to the CMS piece. I have not gone through it as a participant to see what the students see. That's a great idea.

It is important to familiarize yourself with the CMS system so you can understand what the students need to navigate

I need to be more mindful of my delivery of content.

These information are helpful,  knowing and applying the course structure and Navigational Simplicity will make teaching contents easy to those students.

I learned that implementing an efficient curriculum, the student will have effectively learned the course content.

The course success is based on a clear structure, easy navigation, intellectual interaction and Active Learner-Centered Learning. This ensure a comprehensive learning experience for each student.

I learned to properly prepare yourself before teaching eLearning. Watch how to videos an navigate through online before starting the class so you are more confident and able to help the students out at well.

Online instructors should employ learning and technical support. Each instructor has his/her own teaching methods but they all work toward a common goal.

I have learned it is important to know and be familiar with the online platform you will be teaching on, and having as much technical efficency as possible. Also learned how much organization and communication is needed for an online class compared to an in person class.

With CMS, be aware that not all learners may be as technologically savvy compared to their peers. It is important to encompass technological learning as well as educational learning.

I found it interesting that there is so much more that goes into online learning than one would think.  I need to be able to manage the curriculum and other responsibilities as well as provide a safe online learning environment.

Hello Everyone,

The information is understood and I plan on applying this information in my class.
