This is a general discussion forum for the following learning topic:

Using Technology to Engage and Educate --> Manage, Share and Organize Information

Post what you've learned about this topic and how you intend to apply it. Feel free to post questions and comments too.

I this part of the course I have learned about different applications that can help collect, organize and make presentations to the class more dynamic.

I learned about SlideShare and how it works. I plan to incorporate it more into my classroom instruction to support teaching and learning.

Technology is always welcome to help and enhance students' learning.

Students are the active users of the technology being incorporated into education.

There is a lot to learn from the computer world that I am not accustomed to use and will need to learn more to use this in class.

This module helped me better understand how collaborative media can improve communication, teamwork, and student engagement in both online and blended learning environments. I also liked learning about the idea of using blogs as a way for students to share ideas, reflect on learning, and communicate with others in a more interactive format. Since I use Zoom every day, I plan to continue using collaborative tools like Zoom and blogs to encourage participation and create a more engaging learning environment for my students.

This module helped me understand the importance of effectively managing, sharing, and organizing information in both educational and professional settings. I learned that strong information management is essential for communication, collaboration, productivity, and maintaining accurate records. Proper organization also helps reduce confusion, improve efficiency, and ensure that important information is easy to access when needed.

One of the key things I learned was how digital tools and cloud-based platforms can improve organization and teamwork. Organizing files into clearly labeled folders, using shared documents, maintaining version control, and storing information securely are all important practices. I also learned that sharing information responsibly requires attention to privacy, professionalism, and accessibility so that everyone involved can access the information they need while maintaining confidentiality.

Throughout this module, I was introduced to useful educational and organizational resources such as Zoho and Google educational tools, which can support communication, collaboration, scheduling, cloud storage, and document sharing in both classroom and workplace environments. Learning how these platforms can work together to improve workflow and organization was especially valuable.

There’s a lot that I need too learn from new tools available

I've never heard of Zoho notebook before, I will definately be looking into this and see if this is a good fit for classroom presentations.

I have not heard of a few of these platforms. I am willing to look further into them.

I didnt realize there were so many different places to obtain information and have never heard of ZOHO

Technology is a very helpful tool in the classroom. It keeps us up to date in the world and speaks to the younger generation than traditional treaching. It is also amazing that students can access classes/information in a way they could not before.

This module is very infornative . Lots if resources for innovative teaching.

great material

There are a lot of resources that I have never seen before. I want to look more into these and see how these can implemented into my current lectures.

I will try ZOHO Notebook with my students.

Using technology to data gather is a useful area for preliminary and usually broad focused concepts. To refine technology data gathering, I find it useful for students to contact industry experts and ask questions based on their data research.

I did not know about some of technologies. I am going to learn more about them and try to use them for the purpose of my students.

I use some of these regularly and others I have used in the past. Good to know about a few others but this module felt like a sales pitch. Always good to incorporate technology in the classroom environment
