Use the REFOCUS method to counteract lagging interest and burnout.

i learned a new acronym REFOCUS also to implement active learning strategies like pair share , movement and hands on activities for engagement that will provide more opportunities for students choice

How important it is to change up learning strategies to keep students engaged.

It is important to stay focused on the goals of the course and try to keep up a strong level of enthusiasm throughout the entire course, not just at the beginning. Adding some variety to the class schedule helps to keep the students focused on the class and increase their interest. It is more important to focus on all of your roles as an instructor (presenter, coach, mentor, designer, judge, etc.) rather than focusing on trying to be a perfect expert.

Learning to refocus during the semester is a way to reengage your students and energize yourself.

Keep focus on the students make it fun and keep all students engaged if you see your losing the students interest change the topic and exercise to keep students focused and angaged.

you should keep your classroom active and have a variety of different methods help retain students interest and keep them engaged.

keep your classroom active and fulfilled with new task.

Keeping your students engaged throughout the class and asking follow up questions will help them retain the information being presented.

Keeping your classroom focused is multi-faceted and a big part is recognizing my role in self-awareness. The crisis management game sounds like a very fun way to keep the class engaged if the "slumps" occur.

Variety is the key. Switch delivery methods to keep everyone engaged. Surprises may be helpful.

You need to keep track of the curriculum, making sure everything is covered and the students are maintaining their focus

From this segment, I learned that the mind tends to resist concepts it doesn't understand, yet is drawn to ideas that are clear and comprehensible. Moving forward, I plan to create innovative lessons that are tailored to the specific needs and abilities of each student group.

By using cognitive (mind) and tactile (body) skills, the retention of material is significantly increased due to the learner developing a working memory of the material.

I plan to use different learning styles when teaching. Not just discussing the material but bringing my own experiences and asking the student for their perspectives and experience as well.

It is very important that any adult educator understands that keeping up with student motivation is important. It will affect the passing rate and overall experience of the adult learner.

I learned ways to focus on the students and their capacity for learning while also further stimulating it so they can continue to learn and reinforce content.

Refocusing students and the instructor can be helpful. Often in the midway point or after several weeks in the course of instructions, student can loss focus and forget the purpose of the training and learning. By refocusing the material and the course objective it can help both the student and the instructor.

Keep your classroom interesting to keep students motivated and engaged. If you lose your enthusiasm, your students will too. If you put in your full effort, your students will recognize it and appreciate it. Be sure to take care of yourself and recharge when needed, so you do not become burnt out, because the students recognized that as well.
