i like the tree example. Can you guess what type of learner i am? I am going to try to utilize that and incorporate lecture/ show procedure/ student do procedures.
Being innovative about the way you present information will support retention of important points. Especially if you tickle all the learning styles. Definitely plan and practice a demonstration. This planning will increase your confidence as an instructor.
Students learn in different ways, like seeing, hearing, reading or doing. Teachers should use different teaching methods to help all students understand and succeed.
Practicing demonstrations or new lecture techniques are important prior to the lecture.

It is important to remember different learning styles and to vary your delivery throughout the course to include all students. It is also good to make sure that your lecture has some form of visual, such as notes, for the students to follow along with. Do not "cold start" a lecture; make sure to have some form of chat or attention grabber before you begin-think about when you took a public speaking class and all the tips and tricks you learned there; they apply here.
Learning the actual numbers behind how human attention works (such as the 5-7 steps) helped me understand how crucial it is for me to be concise in how I present information.
Practice all the different methods by videoing yourself and re-watch it.
Sometimes you have to teach to how the specific students respond instead of your own teaching style. Everyone learns differently so lecture on a subject, then have the students draw a picture, then play a video and then have a quiz. That way it hits all learning points.
I liked all the types of lectures explanations. I can see how it will apply to the information I will teach.

engaging with different events will show them the different problems we have in our electrical careers this way they can see the different situations and how you can address the issue and make the repairs and restore what ever it is you are repairing in our case it is electrical hands on with theory lecture will help you in learning trouble shooting.

I have noticed instructors, over the years, perform demonstrations that have been incredible and easy to learn from as well as demonstrations that seemed like were done for the first time with the class. My demonstrations will be practiced and ready for students.
