I have learned that for Florida, they take education and FTC standards quite highly. This is a great way to check educational standards on the state level to ensure fairness and honesty for students. As a representative in Florida it becomes my responsibility to ensure I am upholding the standards for the applicants.
From the first admissions staff training module, foundational terms and concepts were introduced that will be vital to my role. I’ve learned that this course is not only mandatory for becoming an admissions agent, but it’s also essential for understanding the full scope of marketing and admissions—especially in line with Florida state regulations. It has shown me the importance of keeping organized records, such as notes and copies of enrollment agreements, marketing materials, and monthly updates or changes. Also need to know the ins and outs of my institution so I can represent the school accurately and support our students with professionalism, pride and confidence.
So far I have learned that this course in not only mandatory to be an admissions agent but will teach me the ins-and-outs of marketing and admissions Florida state rules so that I can support the institution I work for as best as possible. To make notes and copies of the agreements, marketing materials/plans (as well as if they change or are new each month), and that in order be the best admissions agent I can be I should know my institution from the inside out from the institutions history, all information on programs, tuition, along with the service rules and regulations.
I have learned that it is necessary to keep up to date with the regulations and policies and also to complete the Administration Staffing course.

As an Admissions Coordinator, it is important to understand your role, responsibilities, and rules and regulations. Staying up-to-date on current information pertaining to the school, as well as keeping information organized is imperative to success.
As the Admissions Coordinator it is vitally important for me to remain abreast to updates and revisions in order to ensure reference information is current and reliable. Maintianing a notebook is a very useful tool for staying organized. I'm able to reference policies, procedures, codes and standards at my fingertips.
We need to learn the current regulations but also stay up to date on any new regulations.
We should learn and understand our local and state regulations. We should work how we train and know the regulation in a note book.s of being admissions. We should keep a detailed and organized copy of all state regulations
It helps us understand the State Regulation and importance of good practices witting the educational field. Accountability and fair admission is very important at the time of college, university or secondary educational institution accreditation.

This first section was designed to give us the foundation to learn and implement the more detailed rules and regulations required to operate within admissions in the state of Florida. I intend to use this information to build my knowledge base as we proceed.
Without the rules and regulations set out in this training session we would be lost in the woods. This training is our compass to lead us toward the right path.

I'm currently becoming familiar with the terminology related to my role, including relevant policies, procedures, and expectations. I’ve found it helpful to maintain a dedicated notebook to track key terms, rules, and institutional information. Staying organized and updating this regularly is essential. It's also important to understand the institution’s marketing strategy and organizational structure. I recognize that this is an ongoing learning process, and staying informed will be key to confidently answering questions and sharing accurate, up-to-date information.
I have learned it's important to learn the definitions and terms defined by the Florida Rules and Statutes.
I am learning the terminology concerned with the role, policies procedures, etc. Keeping a notebook of terms rules and information regarding the institution we are representing is important as well as being organized and keeping this current. Knowing the Marketing plan and organizational chart for the institution are also important. I know that we will always be learning new information and keeping up on this will be important so that we are able to answer questions and provide current information accurately.
This module was full of great information, definitions, and suggestions to maintain your admissions training/licenses requirements.
