The modules and the structure of the course are great and very informative. Staying informed and up to date with Admissions Policies and Procedures as well as with all requirements by the Florida Commission for Independent Education is a must.

I have gained an excellent understanding as a first administrative representitive.

As a first time admissions Rep, the course was very informative, it gave me an understanding of the importance of knowing Florida statuses as it relates to learning at an independent institution. It also provided great tips on how to keep a record of information, that can be easy and accessible to assist with your daily functions. I'm looking forward to learning more. 

 

It is not only essemtial but also critical to ensure admissions not only follow the rules and regulations to ensure the most positive student outcome.

 

It explains in detail the admission requirements following the laws of Florida's education department, the consequences that you can get for not following these requirements. You need to take this training before you begin to work as admission officer, or any time that this process or rules changes.

Im agree with this module, is my first time as an admission officer and this module has been greatfull to learning the individual policie of institution, procedure and orientation for student who are new or transfers

I have learned CIE requires training for all staff who recruit. Also that it is very important to know your terms and definitions.

Hello! I am new to the admissions counselor role, so this course will definitely help me get a grasp on all the important rules, regulations, and ethical concerns I should keep in mind while working with students. The list of terms was helpful to have because there are so many acronyms and terms in higher ed that it can be difficult to keep them all straight!

 

I like the idea of a resource handbook. This will definitely be beneficial while meeting with students and their parents.

I found the training is excellent for the first time admission officers.

In the state of Florida The Commission for Independent Education requires admissions representative
training approved course (CM201) for any individual who functions as a recruiter,
admissions representative, director, or Admissions Agent that is, all staff who
participate in the admission of prospective students
in an institution to recruit prospective students.

and Nonpublic Postsecondary Education and the Florida Rules Chapter 6E, Florida Administrative Code.

Demonstrate the ability to use the actual resource Notebook to locate various
rules and regulations, documents, facts, and institution information further
the Notebook is as a Reference Guide and it is important to up date the resource Notebook as well

the need to a satisfactor complition of the Admissions Staff Training course before
an individual start working as an Admissions representative. Aditionally it is also
necessary to the Admissions staff worker to keep up-to-date with new regulations and policies
and complete continuing education.

In my opinion, as a new entry, I have a deep knowledge of the common and overall concepts of the that are needed form the Admission staff worker to be efficient and meet the goal and objectives of an instituion.  

 

I have learned the importance of knowing our job title, understaning important terms, using our resources and the process in which we maintain our knowledge and training in admissions.  

The Admission Director must keep up with  the CIE changes in policies and procedures.

It is vital to learn from the onset of your role as an Admissions Representative the necessary policies, procedures as well and rules as it pertains to enrollment to ensure compliance.  It is important to also continue learning to stay on top of ongoing changes.

 

During this training session I have learned that the admissions policy is vitally important and I intend to keep abreast of the rules and regulations to periodically update my staff.

 

 

I have learned that as part of a Higher Education institution we need to keep up with policies and procedures as they can change over time 

It is a new experience for me. This module is so useful.

in the module, I learned more about what it means to work in admissions. I learned about the diffrent positions an admissions worker can hold and the requirements an admin worker has.

I learned the importance of knowing the rules relating to admission. I also learned how important to be familiarized with the admission process of my institution.
