I learned that it's really important and helpful to keep a notebook full of up to date important information about my instution's individual policies and procedure, all this infromation can help me to give a better assistant to my students.

So far I have just learned that this is a required course to be an Admissions staff and recruit students. Before today, I had no idea this was a requirement in Florida. Learning about the policies, procedures, and expectations of an admissions advisor is all new to me and I'm excited to get through this program!

 

I've learned about new refrences/ sources for information pertaining to admissions.

As an admission rep, it is important to sty up to date and do continuous training of new regulations that will affect me or my prospects at my school.

I have learned in this topic the various terminology and the correct use of it.

 

 

The outcome of this module demonstrated the key functional MUST to be a successful Admissions Representative. I would say that the information given, been a daily activity put into practice. It's my understanding that knowing the importance it is to actually know the information. Always have the most up-to-date information to than explain. It's always great to have someone come to you for support and having the ability and the opportunity to help. We are the tool that knows far out of what at least had thought in one point knowing, is more insight to it. I am pleased to always have the accurate information on my depository. This module again, gave me a better well understanding on how to make it happen. This where we go into Our story our mission and etc.. Reminded me of everything I been learning and overcoming the past week.

I have learned that it is vital to be up to date with your admissions policies and procedures. in addition i have also learned that you should always keep a updated version of your institutions catalog for reasons such as being able to inform the potential students of the institutions history, all the institutions programs, the tuitions and expenses, the student services rules and regulations etc.

 

As an administrator at my school, I learned about the rules and regulations.

 

The refresher on the terms, Statutes, and rules that this course touched on is good for everyone.  Even knowing everything, It is good to remember the importance of the guidelines for what makes the job as admissions work best of the institution.  Being a student and an admissions employee allows me to see both sides of table and where different responsibilities lie.  So far, this course seems interesting and I am interested in what is to come.

I´ve learned Florida´s Statutes and Rules that affect all admissions staff and the importance of keep up-to-date with new regulations and policies

 

I have learned that Admissions Representatives need to take a course about the regulations of the State of Florida about what is and isn't allowed to do.

As a member of Admissions, I've learned how important it is to keep a Resource notebook. As rules, regulations and basically everything with Admissions tend to evolve/change this note book will help me to stay up to date. It can be used as a great tool in helpng me to stay compliant! I love that idea!

 

It is important to learn the full course training before becoming an admissions representative

As an Associate Director of Admissions, the modules have assisted with making me more effective as a manager.

As an Associate Director of Admission, the modules are informative.

 

I have learned the importance of having a resource notebook with all knowledge of the insitution I work for and a print out (updated when changes are applied) of the FAC statutes, rules and regulations. It is vital that I stay up to date so students can be properly informed prior to enrolling.

I look forward to taking this every year to see how much I can improve on the previous year 

I have learned that as a representative of my school that I need to be an expert of my institution. I need to be prepared to ask questions and determine if a prospect is a match with my institution.

 

I learned the value of training in the admissions guidelines, as well as the need to keep my understanding of the Florida Department of Education's rules up to current.

Admissions Policiies are a requirement we must always be in compliance in order to be able to complete our goals and be a great institution for our students.
