The NC Catalog is often referred to as the admissions, financial aid, and programmatic Bible for all employees; especially those employees who may not work directly with students or for those who need a one-stop-shop for answers. Students and employees alike should take the catalog content very seriously as the catalog provides for recourse for broken promises by schools or for clarification to students who may have misunderstood something.

School catalogs are so valuable to students because it has the answers to almost every question in regards to requirements, costs, etc. Policies are written in catalogs, and they serve to guide both students and employees. The catalogs keep the school and the students compliant with these guidelines. If a student or employee questions something, for example a pre-req course, the catalog will detail this information.

The importance of the catalog is the information inside of it, it will guide both the students and staff/faculty on all the school policies, graduation requirements and in addition to curriculum information. It is an extension of the enrollment agreement that contains all of the schools policies within. The catalog is the key to all the of the schools guidelines an procedures.

The catalog is valuable for the student because it is a great reference point. For the school it is like the "bible" in that all of the policies, procedures etc.

Catalogs are crucial to students because they are a guide for the student to use as they navigate the waters of higher education. If students have questions about policies or program requirements the catalog clearly answers those questions. Our staff uses the catalog the same way...questions about policies and requirements can be found in our catalog. "When in doubt look it up in the catalog"

Catalogs are crucial to all programs, for both employees and students. It is necessary to have program information easily accessible at all times to use in reference towards answering questions and directing actions.

The catalog contains the school policies, and curriculum information. Also ensures the student and employee to understand A-Z. when referring back to the catalog you can find factual information....

The catalog has information about all areas of the college. A student (who initially knows very little about the school) and an employee (who may be well-versed in their specific area, but not in others) can utilize the catalog as a reference for the things that they do not know about the college.

On a normal work day, I may asked all types of questions about all types of matters that do not necessarily fall into my job responsibilities. I am constantly referring to our catalog to seek answers to these questions.

Therefore, anyone denied access to the catalogue is being denied access to truth, and anyone too lazy enough to read or reference the catalogue is choosing to remain uninformed.

The catalog is valuable for both the student and the schools employee because it clearly states what the schools expectations are for both parties providing transparency.

This guides the student to be on a proper pathway to their career.
