Agent Vs Representative

I felt like this wasn't clearly discussed in the overview. I know for our college the only title we are allowed to give is Representative, but the training uses the word Agent like the terms are interchangable.

Keeping Track

It is a good idea to keep track of your leads in a different ways. One could be on a computer and on a second notebook for redundancy.

Great class

This class taught me so much esp what is needed to start out and giving you a starting point!

Financial Aid

How do your correctly encourage students to enroll in your institution when financial aid is not an option for them, especially in this tough economy?

Admissions

The admissions team has a very hard job.

Qualifying a perspective student

It is interesting to read about what financing options the admissions rep can discuss with the perspective student. Is every school required to have a financial aid department? Does there need to be another person who qualifies the perspective student to see if they can actually afford the program other than the Admissions Rep?

Catalog

I am surprised to see that the Catalog holds just as much weight as the enrollment agreement. Since the Catalog is a legally bound document how should changes in the catalog be implemented? Specifically when you are dealing with curriculum changes.

One Campus, One Mission

Admissions certainly has a lot on their plate in order to be compliant while attracting students that will start and stay. That said, it seems to me that the campuses that succeed are the ones where admissions, student services, financial aid, and academics can work together for the benefit of the student.
