I learned not to bring up past events to a situation that is current, I learned that not everyone enjoys being praised especially in front of a group setting. I believe they should still be praised but when they are on a one to one setting where they will feel more comfortable.

I have learned it is best to give constructive feedback in the moment and not let to much time pass, which will make the situation more cloudy to the person giving the feedback. While giving feedback, avoid being the judge.
Constructive critisism is sometimes hard to take. I learned that by taking a second to process and then paraphrasing to make sure I understand the critisism is much better to do so everyone is on the same page.
