There’s people in my institution I should know, besides having access to everyone in the company and continuously keeping up with their departments, the people I should know include the director of education and the placement director. For the benefit of the applicants, I should have general knowledge of all the programs offered by my institution.
I should also sit in class to experience firsthand what the students have to go through and hopefully use it to entice them.
In par with this, i should be aware of advertising and marketing campaigns to better understand who my school wants and how it gets them here.

In program marketing, it is crucial that programs are transparent in what is expected of students along with providing realistic outcomes for graduates. 

In this module I learned the importance of student services. It was important to familiarize and learn the details about each aspect that is related to student services. Such aspects like academic advisement, student orientation, counseling, learning resources, etc. Collecting all the necessary document will help make the admissions and enrollment process as efficient as possible and in line with compliance. 

Take time to find out how the institution advertises to potential students, keep updated on any changes made to the advertisements, and how to explain the admissions process to potential students. 

It is important that the advertising and the marketing strategies are aligned with the mission of the institution and its programs.

The best way to learn about the school program and services to be proactive and attend the classes, talk to faculty, know what each departments and gather all materials of the institution. This will help to present the prospect student a vivid experience of what they can expect and receive.

This module has allowed me to understand the importance of marketing strategies and how these can attract and affect students.

Marketing strategies can have different styles as long as they stay in compliance. 

Students should be well informed about the school and program they are applying too and prospective students learn about the school from marketing.

Sitting in on classes can be helpful to provide the best information about the career.

There are various types of marketing methods to distribute information to potential students. 

I have learned a lot just by speaking with people in other departments.

I learned about the importance of following the established rules when advertising and promoting the institution and its programs. 

Comment on Juan Rosa's post: in my experience the best information and best way to understand the programs, classes, and expectations is to talk with students who have been through it, the instructors, and department chairs. 

I learned there are many ways to learn about our programs and it is important to learn about them from every angle, so we can provide the best information to prospective students. 

Student services vary at each institution. All schools should have some form of student services to include library and resources for students to be successful. Degree outcomes must be proven and just not promised.
