There are so many sites to use as an educator; find one that serves your purpose and use it.  Changing them will confuse and irritate students.

Great explanation. I have learned a lot from it and students have many different ways to enhance their learning.

As faculty, we can use platforms to share content, like images, videos, and presentations with various groups of students, faculty and others. This learning opportunity can accommodate various learning styles. Rubrics should be tailored.

In this unit, I learned that media hosting and sharing are key components of effective online learning. By utilizing platforms that enable the easy upload and access of videos, images, podcasts, and presentations, students and teachers can enhance the course experience. Media adds variety, supports different learning styles, and makes abstract ideas more concrete through the use of visuals and audio.

One of the most important aspects is choosing the right platform and format. For example, YouTube or Vimeo are useful for video hosting, while tools like Google Drive or Dropbox can be effective for sharing larger files. What matters most is ensuring that the content is accessible, secure, and organized so students can focus on learning rather than struggling with technology.

I plan to apply this by creating short explanatory videos and sharing them through a reliable platform, so students can review the material whenever they need. I also want to encourage students to share their own projects or presentations in a space where everyone can give feedback, which promotes collaboration and peer learning.

I have learned that although we can utilize social media content, we must make sure it meets the requirements of the organization first. Safety and protection is a must when dealing with social media.

I learned about new media sites that I was previously unaware of.  I'd like to introduce it into my class - after making sure I'm complying with copyright laws.  I also think it's important to use media sources, as the younger generation are very tech savy and I think it will draw their attention into the material more.

I have learned that outside source of media and hosting are an important/necessary part of an online course. I have also learned about new sites that I did not know before.

Comment on Donald Barr's post: I agree, change is happening every second.

I have learned that the media content must meet certain criteria such as copyright and regulations.

To include innovative technology in the classroom that promotes student engagement and excitemen.

Creating a system that works for your classroom is key when using different resources.

In this module I have learned there are so many sites to utilize for students learning to expand. I plan on exploring many of these sites in the near future to assist with expanded learning

I’ve learned so much in this module I intend on applying these same lessons in the classroom

I’ve learned there isn’t one set way to get students involved and that media hosting and sharing can be tailored specifically to each student.

That you don’t have to use a one size fits all rubric. It can vary depending on what you are doing.

Assingments should be brief, understandable, accessible and jargon free.

Not all social media platforms will be acceptable for educational purposes.

I learned there are many ways for host and media sharing that the students are able to use. Also rubric”s for assessment and evaluation can be different or tailored t fit the type of material you are assessing.
