In this module, I gained a deeper understanding of a variety of technology tools that can enhance communication, improve organization, and increase student engagement. One of the key takeaways for me was the importance of using technology intentionally to support student learning and make course content more accessible.
As an hybrid instructor, I will continue incorporating tools such as Canvas, ALEKS, Zoom, and other digital resources to communicate effectively with students and promote their success. I am also interested in exploring new technologies that can further strengthen student engagement and create a more interactive and meaningful learning environment.
In this module, I learned about several technology tools that can be used to improve communication, organization, and student engagement. I was reminded that technology is most effective when it is used to support learning and make information more accessible to students.
As an online mathematics instructor, I plan to apply what I learned by continuing to use technology tools such as Canvas, ALEKS, Zoom, and other online resources to communicate with students and support their learning. I look forward to exploring additional tools that can help create a more engaging and effective learning experience.
One thing that I have learned is that it is very important to know what Learning system we have as not all of them are the same so not all systems will allow contents

So far, I've learned that not all online tools will work. You need to (1) know your teaching type/ types and have a good understanding of how the tool works.
Using technology tools helps students learn better because it keeps information organized.
I have discovered that keeping a structured and productive learning environment requires the use of technological tools. Forums such as learning management systems, digital resources and communication tools allow teachers to effectively deliver material while encouraging student participation.
Technology plays a critical role in facilitating teaching and preparing students for success in today's job market. Modern workplaces rely heavily on digital tools, communication platforms, automation, and technical systems, making technology integration in education more important than ever. By using technology in the classroom, instructors can create learning environments that better reflect real-world working conditions and expectations.
So much technology out there to use to help facilitate the learning experience, but you must be sure to use the correct tool for the job
The technology being used needs to be user friendly. It needs to make sure that all students have access to it. It is designed to help the students to learn through interaction. It also allows them to learn at their own pace.
Most effective when its treated as a purposeful choice rather than a default habit, it highlights that tech-savvy isn't just about knowing how to use everyday gadgets, it's about requirements of the task with the unique function of a cool tool , using the wrong tool even if high tech can lead to inefficiency or safety risk, taking time to investigate a tools true function can ensure a much higher quality of work at a faster rate.
It shows that the stop and think approach is always the best go-to when starting anything

If a technology tool cannot function in the manner in which it is needed, it will not be an effective teaching and learning tool.
Being more creative and engaging with students on a better technological platform.
Technology tools are important for online teaching programs because it helps meet the needs for the learner. The instructor must understand how the tools function to be implemented properly.
I really liked the line, "should support, not hinder the teaching and learning process".
All technology tools have their strengths and are dependent on the instructor's knowledge and ability to use it in a manner to maximize its effectiveness.
Be sure to inspect all tools before using
