The part about the prompt reply to the student's questions are essential to a positive online course. 

I learned the importance of making sure that the impression that the instructor is available 24-7 is key in designing your asynchronous class. 

I have learned how to use the tools for online learning more effectively rather than just using the tools because they are there.

I found that the discussion on the different learning styles was interesting and that you should perform demonstrations before class in order to discuss them instead of during a lecture. 

I thought the video on having the students discuss what they learned in class that day based on their preparation the night before was very helpful.

I believe it is important to be prepared for your class each and every day. I believe the students can sense when the instructor is not prepared and it can make for a difficult class. 

I appreciate the discussion on interacting with the students in a professional manner. Not only does it model and train the students on how to interact appropriately with others but also models the attitude and conduct that will be expected in the workplace environment. I plan on trying to increase my professionalism in the classroom by modeling these things.
