Taking in the big picture of what you are going to select for course content is important if you are going to make sure that your content is both foundational and progressive.

Just be organized and understand why you are teaching what you are teaching.

Objectives are written to tell/guide students as to what they are supposed to learn by the end of a lesson.  

Objectives need to be clear, concise, and easily understood by students. Writing instructional objectives is part of the process of dividing the course into logical units, organized from the more general goals to the more specific objectives.

Learning objectives help guide the lesson plans. 

Always include objectives and standards in your lesson plans to provide clarity for the training audience.

The learning ojectives varies and applying them with knowledge from self, from the students perspectives and how they can work through the courses using what is taught. verbal, demonstrations and applying in lab. 

Make learning objectives specific and measurable. 

It is important that we know the known knows, realize that they are known unknowns, and to strive to know the thing we don't know.

by having strong objectives and knowing the standards, we can help students have what they need to get started in their field

When determining standards for a class/s it is crucial the standards are aligned with industry, state, and national standards 

It's important to review your notes that you write as reminders to ensure that nothing has changed since they were written.
