Learning about the introduction to virtual reality (VR) has shown me how this technology can transform traditional education by creating immersive and interactive learning environments. VR allows learners to explore realistic scenarios, practice skills, and engage with content in ways that promote deeper understanding and retention. As a nursing educator, I intend to apply VR lessons by incorporating simulated patient care experiences where students can practice assessments, clinical decision-making, and emergency responses in a safe setting. I am interested in exploring how VR can improve student confidence, reduce clinical anxiety, and support diverse learning needs. I look forward to learning more about effective VR lesson design.
I am excited to see how I can embed in ELA! The information stated not for 13 and under, but did not explain anything further. I am curious to know why that specific age.

I teach business so I am very interested in using VR to help students learn business soft skills.
VR could be used for the understanding of how equipment in my woodworking class works. It could also be used to instruct students on how things are put together in woodworking projects.
VR is a fantastic tool for getting a soft introduction to hands on skills that will be learned and practiced in Sterile Processing.
VR can help VN students through so many scenarios. What to do in a Code, view the differences between acute care & SNF care. It would be fun to see if I can create something along those lines.
I can appreciate how VR and AR would be beneficial to the ultrasound student, but it will be quite a while before the technology will be sophisticated enough to simulate the ultrafine tactile movements the ultrasound technology student needs to develop.

I would use AR and virtual worlds to bring realism into the classroom setting, without having to buy VR headsets.

I learned about the differences between AR, VR and XR. I can see how it can aid in teaching critical thinking skills in the nursing field by creating immersive scenarios.
VR is a new technology and it will only grow. I would like to apply VR in health care settings.
I have learned that VR can be an important partner in nursing education. I see myself using virtual reality to immerse nursing students in complex patient care scenarios, promoting critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and decision-making in a safe, realistic, and engaging learning environment.

I teach a drones class, so vr could be very valuable to let students learn the controls and gain confidence before flying a real drone.
Currently trying to work it into simulation but there is challenges when students are not interested
I would love to incorporate VR in the clinical, but i guess some if not all has already experienced VR through SIMS?
VR may be a way students can complete skills they need to learn in an online schooling environment.
