I do like the idea of holistic assessment but I do feel it would have to be blended with actual graded assignments.

The three C's are cooperation, collaboration, and compromise.

There are so many different styles of learning and our course material should reflect , encourage and facilitate that.

FERPA rights have exceptions especially when it is a matter of national security.

Records should be kept in a locked cabinet and care should be  taken when hiring employees that can be trusted with those records.

Directory information is different than personal identification information. Institutions are given 45 days to produce requested records.

FERPA protects students rights in relation to their educational records and institutions have to abide by their standards.

I have found that providing different ways to learn the same information, has helped many students, especially when they are preparing for an exam.
