Financial Aid

In the state of Texas, Admission representatives are not permitted to discuss financial aid. Therefore, I advised the prospective student that financial aid is available to those who may qualify. I direct them to USA website where they can click the financial aid link for options or I will ask if they would like to speak with a financial aid counselor. If so, I will warm transfer them to our financial aid counselor.

Organization Chart for Resource Notebook

I believe an organization chart is extremely important for the Resource notebook. Especially, for new hires. This will help me understand who reports to who and what they do. Currently, this is missing from my notebook. I will ask for one.

Current employment environment and other things that impact recruitmen

I think that knowledge of the parts that impact the whole can augment success and efficiency. This includes within an organization and external factors, layoffs, company relocations, etc. The mention of this matter within the material was extremely helpful.

Sitting in on classes

I think this is a great idea and will inquire as to whether it's an option where I work. Having previously recruited for a program I graduated from added to my knowledge of the program, the schools, enabled faculty familiarity, etc all of which augmented my passion.

Title IV

Not really sure of what Title IV is so I will be looking further into just for background information.

Resource Notebook

I think the resource notebook is a great idea. My problem is figuring out what is important and not important to be in it. Also, are we at the point now where this should be done electronically or still by paper? Could this be a resource notebook that the office puts together, together?

At my institution after the admissions rep complete an interview with a prospective student the FA department meets with the prospective student if they are a good fit.

Why does a student have to be at least 24 years of age to be considered independent?

Should a student be refunded, if upon establishing a contract with an institution, job placement is promised but is never fulfilled?

Which professional method is suggested to retrieve loan repayment from those who fail to repay?
