CM102

In my opinion, although this course was chock full of information, I do not feel it pertained to me being a classroom educator.  In the future, I would much rather spend my time studying information helpful to my daily duties as an instructor.

CourseCM102

While this course had a great deal of interesting information, I am not sure if the information pertained to me in my position as teacher.  Most of the information would more benefit someone in the main office or a recruiter.

Compliance Essential to Professional Development

Compliance 102 was definitely an interesting course to take.  I learned several important concepts that will help me overall in my faculty development.

New to the Job

Since today was my third day at work and my job training is just fixing to start, I am looking forward to practicing what I have learned and making good use of the knowledge and experience of others.

Important Class

I think that this class was helpful in learning more about the role of Agent's in the state of Ohio and the importance of our interaction with students. I feel that I am lucky to work for a school and company that covered this material in the training process so I was pretty familiar with the requirements.

Vital Information

The information that I received was very improtant and very helpful to share with students who are graduating.  Students need to know the importance of student loans and to use their money and time wisley while in school. Also, I became more aware of the importance of accreditation, rules and regulation concerning accreditation.

High School Presenter

As a high school presenter in the field I found this to be very helpful and informative to not only help answer questions while out but to also be up to date on what is happening.  Compliance is a huge part of going out and representing my institution and I want to do the best job possible!

learning

In the field of education it most inportant that we the schools keep abreast of the latest rules and regs. I enjoyed the experience that I recieved from the training on CM201

Follow up

Having been in the Financial Aid industry before I found this traing very useful as a refresher to much of the knowledge that I have not used in months. Additionally I found that I was able to obtain some new knowledge along the way which I will definitely be able to appy to my current position.

Informative

great

very informative...

My overall thought

This course gave me a lot of helpful knowledge, information that I definitely can use and apply to my position. A lot of helpful resources, including the notebook, and a lot of links that are very resourceful. Gaining more knowledge in this career, is important, we really have to stay on informed with all the regulations, and changes as they happen so often and so many that we may not even be aware of. It is very important to understand and know all of these regulations, guidelines and rules that are provided as an admissions representative.

What I Have Learned!

I have to admit this was a pleasure!  I knew a lot of the information, clarified some things was not sure about and provided some much needed confidence for myself to be comfortable in knowing that I do make the right decisions in life.  Really is common since, respect for yourself and others, have integrity, enjoy in knowing you are helping someone move forward with their education while encouraging success.  We can't assist everyone that we meet as there may be other places that may be a better fit for them in the way they choice to earn their training,… >>>

Feedback on what I learned

I confess that I came into the training with a "Why do I need to do this?" attitude, but am sincerely coming away with knowledge that I didn't have before.  I have been compliant to many rules and regs in my career, but I never really knew why these rules were there and what the ramification would be for noncompliance.

I'm glad that I took this course...It's one thing to be compliant, and quite another to understand why.

Overall experience

The training helped reassure issues I was aware of as well as learning new bits of oinformation that will help in my career as an Admissions Manager.

Course

Overall, I gained a great deal of information about topics I knew very little about.

Helpful Info

I think we get adequate training on my University; however, there were still things I picked up from this online forum that made me glad I went through the training.

Was the course good? Did it do its job?

Yes and Yes. The course was very professional and to the point. It explained what is expected of an agent, what the rules and regulations are and how they apply to what we do. For me... the course just re-enforced what I had been trained by the Admissions Director at my school. There were no big surprises, because if it wasn't already common sense, I had been previously trained in respect to it. I say that, but I also believe it is a course that is definitely needed for all admissions agents and reps, myself included. It's good to know that we… >>>

Great Overview

This course provided us with knowledge and resources on the daily operations, accrediting regulations, financial aid, admissions policy and procedure and more! I think this was a complete overview of how a post-secondary institution operates and the required compliance regulations. The presentation was resourceful and straight forward.
