New Faculty Member

As a new faculty member at MMTC, the information contained in this course was very helpful to me.  I do not recruit students on a daily basis, so I was not aware of many of the cnages to the law as this course has provided clarification on.

Learned something new

Although I don't utilize this information in my everyday job duties, it did show me that you can learn something new and it does pertain to all of us in some way at Delta and MMTC.

Excellent Site

A great way to discuss and give a bulk of information in a very easy user friendly atmosphere. There were bits of information in every module that Ihad not known before, I learned and will be able to apply for the benefit of students.

Honesty is the best Policy

This course laid a wonderful foundation of "Ethics in the Workplace" and how "Honesty is the best policy."  Be honest and people will see you sincerity in their desire to learn.

Very Insightful Course

This made me appreciate more of what all our staff from admissions to career services do behind the scenes at our campus.  Thank you for this opportunity.

Informative/Need-to-know

I understand the importance of knowing the information covered in CM102, but feel that it is a waste of time. As a very busy clinic/program director, having to take the course forced me to take 3-4 hours of my valuable time away from not only my students, but also my family, as I had many interruptions and had to finish the course at home. I would suggest splitting the course up into several courses as to not "overload" the student. Though I am proficient in my area of expertise (cosmetology), I am not a great test taker.

Interesting to know the administrative concepts CM DEL 102

It was interesting to know the different componets that are involved. There are so many different facets that are involved. As instructors we should have a basic underlying understanding to have exposure to the whole system.

Not what I do.

While interesting and informative the course had no revelance to what I do here at Delta. I am not an admission rep. I teach Law to Paralegal students.

CM102

I felt that the CM102 online course was very informative. It contained a lot of information that I did not know as well as some things that I needed to be reminded of. I would recommend this course for all new employees.

CM102

I think this is a great course for those who find themselves facing an accreditation visit. Also for those responsible for maintaining the necessary documentation for school's to maintain good standing and a positive image.

Good to attend for aall instructors

I found this course very good and it is very important tha teacher are also aware iof these rules and changes

CM 102 Compliance Course

Very informative course!  Regulation(s) provide a platform for increased ethical practices and compliance within organizations. It is essential that all faculty and staff stay abreast of the most current federal and state regulations to ensure compliance.

Thanks,

Talbatha

Course

This was a good course. Pretty much everything was new to me. I do not work with students and where I work we do not see students on a daily basis. I still enjoyed learning and I think this class is a big help. I am behind the scenes so even though I do not see the students I know I am helping with their education.

Compliance Course

In today's age of litigation, it is very important that all faculty operate within ethical parameters to safeguard themselves and their institution. This course provides some useful insight in how institutions should run.

Course

I found that the course was very informative, and a bit overwhelming at some points. Not all of the aspects apply to me as an instructor, but I will be able to answer questions for students in the future should they have questions.

CM102 Compliance Course

Overall, I learned about how the regulations and rules of the state comply with the school. The class was helpful because when you are a teacher in the HS system, the principle takes care of all that. So it was definitely helpful. One thing that applies to me immediately is FERPA, as I had never heard of it before. Overall, I learned a lot in this class.

Success

This course was a life saver! I am a new hire and I was very nervous about all of the information I was receiving. It was truly overwhelming! with this course i was able to understand why there were certain policies and procedures in place and why it was so important to implement what I have learned. It has made it easier to retain all of the information i have been taught.

In Anticipation

This course was very helpful. I am only in my 2nd day of training in a new job, so I don't know how I will use the information I learned, but I'm sure they wouldn't have had us take the course if it wasn't going to be a huge help to us.

CM102

I found the CM102 compliance course very helpful and informative. It refreshed my memory on guidelines/regulations that I had previously been informed about (i.e. FERPA, Disclosure Information,DNC) and I also learned new information (i.e. CAN-SPAM, updated federal guidelines, etc). Overall I enjoyed the online format of the course including the forums and enjoyed reading about other employees experiences as related to the topics presented as well as sharing my own experiences.

My thoughts

I did think this was very informative and important information.  It may not all directly apply to me as an instructor, but since I am part of a team, it most certainly applies.
