I found this tutorial very useful for my future growth

this section was very useful, I am excited to put the information I went over to use

presenting  effectively is an important skill to have in higher educatio. This free manager course is a great refresher with usable tips. 

I find that keeping the class interesting and interaction with students will help peak their intrest and they have ownership in the class. They will want to be there

The resource was a quick and easy way to get back on track. As a manager, I get very busy and forget to make sure I'm communicating in the most effective way. A nice resource to keep hold to. 

Our body language and the way we communicate defines the reception of our students.  Love that the simpler the presentation the easier for the student to follow or be able to comprehend the information being provided.  The visual aids have often been a factor for me because i would get to in depth so understanding the using less complex charts and drawings is better for retention.

The tutorial taught me some new things and reminded me of some things I was already familiar with. Mainly what stuck out to me the most is, the distortion and destruction that can happen when a business have poor/ineffective communication between the employers and employees, employees and employes and even at home with family. Make sure communication is clear so that everyone can be on the same page of understanding. I do think this is important key to healthier relationships and then better success. My plan of action is to use this information at my workplace to be successful employee… >>>

Great topic to think about! Next time I will communicate with somebody, I will use the effective practices in order to develop them. I'm sure the conversetion will be more effective and agreeable this way!

This short tutorial made me think again of how important is the way you communicate things, especially if it's related to a certain organization where individuals must act as a united force in pursuing company's goals. This lesseons taught me the important differences between oral and written comunication, based on specific situations and most importantly, ho w to choose which is the best for a certain purpose. Thank you!

Be explicit in your communication to people you are trying to get your point across.

This course help me in many ways mainly the e-mail parts becuase e-mailing is our main way of communication

Wow.  I'm glad I took this course.  I dreaded it because of time constraints; however, it actually highlighted many of the difficulties I've experienced since becoming an instructor 9 months ago.  I feel that I have a better grasp on what it means to be "an effective instructor" and I very much needed the pointers on how to handle the different types of personalities each student has.  My goal at this time is to first and foremost look at my behavior and actions when I sense a problem arising with a student.  I really never did that before.  Or maybe… >>>

I have learned that using different communication methods are effective, because of different learning styles.  Also, it is good to tailor your communication to the individual situation that will provide the greatest impact or impression.

I will fine the best way for each time I need to communicate to others effectively.

My take from this course is the timing involving the feedback, it is so important for the feed back is to be in timely matter, it depends on the urgency and the event, that triggers the feed back. and should be focused in the isuue away from any emotional factors, also when feed back, whether receiver or giver, should be well prepared and all information should be collected before is set forth, also some important factores should be taken into concideration like gender race, background and such.

This was a great educational experience because it can be related to the class room

I liked the reminder of the different options for communicating.

Public speaking can be terrifying! I liked the reminders to be prepared, review the material several times, and practice the presentation.
