This module content was very familiar to me because I am responsible for structure and organization of our school.

I appreciate how this encourages engagement with departments offering each degree program to fully understand the requirements, format, and overall nature of the degrees for which we are recruiting. 

In this module, I learned that sometimes it is important to take the time to sit in a class to actually learn about the class and where students can expect to work after graduation. This way, you will be better prepared to answer prospective students questions 

I´ve learned the importance of really understanding other departments, as this will impact admissions work!

 

An effective admissions employee gathers all possible information about and from different departments of the institution to tell a complete picture of the advantages or benefits of joining a program to a prospective student 

Marketing strategies and plans are important to admission staff since many useful information about the school anf its programs are included in them. 

I need to look at the catalog more to understand the states principles guiding my institution.  I don't need to know everything, but I need to know a lot about a lot.

I've learned that understanding all programs is key. Being able to answer any questions for the students what the program includes is grand help and looks great upon the institution.

I learnt that is really important to advertise by different ways and it depends on the strategies and budget of each Institution. 

It is important to be involved in how the institution is advertised, marketing plans or any other strategies to reach the students, be informed. Networking, talking to other departments, professors, student services.

This module helped me understand that advertisements based on personal experience are more powerful than just talking about something you don't know. One needs to have first-hand experience to be able to answer all the questions of a prospective student. 

Student services prepare students to be successful and provide assistance throughout the student's experience at your institution. I will strongly advise those students that I enroll take full advantage of the assistance and use the preparation methods to the fullest extent.

I learned that being engaged in class is necessary for properly communicating program specifics.

In this module I learned and reviewed what the institution has to offer and what is the correct way for de Admissions department to explain it. 

I learned that marketing plays a vital role in attracting students and keeping the ball rolling with making it easier for students to find their area of study.

I learned that finding out about the different ways our school markets information can be a useful tool in learning more about our school and sharing that information with potential students.

i learned it is important to know what is offered and where that can lead a student in the future.
