It is interesting to see different communication styles
To me, structure and a clearly communicated schedule remain of the utmost importance when e-learning. I will continue to keep active communication with my students in their BAND groups that also keeps the schedule of all due dates that is repeated from their syllabus given on day one. Reminders of what work is expected each week is also important to keep all virtual learning on track and on the same page so that all students feel prepared with materials and for discussions s a group.
Online learning takesa knowledge base that includes technical issues, a place where I do not feel confident. However, the technical support does exist, so getting over my fears will be part of my successful online teaching plan.
This module has reinforced the need to familiarize myself with all the course delivery techniques and strategies so that I can better support the students.
An online instructor must know all the ins and outs of an online course, both in content knowledge and technical issue, in order to be effective.
As an instructor, it is important to not only know the material that is being covered, but also understand how to teach it in an online environment so students are understand the material and what is expected of them. There are several ways to engage students with online platforms to make sure they understand and retain that information being presented.
It is important to know the ins and outs of your institution's CMS so that you can better be prepared to assist students in their learning. Prevents unnecessary hiccups in the learning process and helps you, as the instructor, appear to have things under control. Boosts confidence on both sides.

there are many different parts for online learning available and resources. It is good to familiarize yourself before the course starts
As I learned, the technical , learning support beside the diversity learning experience will reflect positively on the student's performance and build a good and trust instructor- students learning relationship to reach the ultimate success.

It's good to have an adaptive teaching approach to ensure the course can engage the students across a learning spectrum to complement a diverse approach to critical thinking.
I learned that every instructor approaches the best way to teach a course differently. As an instructor, I have to be mindful of what the scope of the course is and not venture outside it, as that can cause confusion for my students. I also need to work on increasing my response and outreach rate, as students do much better when they feel supported by their instructor.
As an instructor, I need to be familiar with the course management system to be the best to assist students in matriculating through the course. I need to know how to make announcements, see the class roster, review quizzes, and respond to students within the course.
Technology accessibility and knowledge is a must for an instructor to display due to majority of classroom activities, learning, test, and supportive material are E- learning with a technology component. The knowledge of E learning, facilities effective teaching and application strategies for the students.
I learned that it is important as an instructor to provide support to my students, in both technical and other ways.
Working CMS/LMS system is a baseline for the successful course. Frustration level is growing fast if the system is crashing. Also, on-line learning is usefull when you have international students in the class as they can access and go through the material several times if needed.
I appreciate the details of this course. It is a great reminder of what needs to be done in online learning for the students and instructors. You always know it should be all of those elements combined but to have a course that includes all of the above is a great way to learn and refresh.
An e-learning environment has many technical aspects not present in an in-classroom learning environment.
As a new instructor I found these tips very useful for achieving the same goals but in a different strategy.
