I enjoyed the variety of projecting your presence methods presented and found the use of reminders for subject due dates to be very helpful in understanding maintaining my presence in a virtual setting.

To make sure the course is effective you should check the system to make sure it is easy to understand and navigate otherwise the student won't be properly engaged and they won't keep attempting the material.

there are many ways to help people with lower reading skills, but the underlying theme is to keep it simple and allow them to use the words in a setting or scenario to promote retention on top of hearing and seeing the word.

I need to use a variety of tools to maintain students attention.

There were so many impactful pointers through the lesson what did you find was an aha moment for you? For me it was the resonance of using 10-15 min segments to allow them to stay focused it made me feel more confident in my approach to changing styles throughout a time period because before i was worried it would seem like too much information and be off putting. Instead, it has given me security in knowing that it's engaging their ability to learn.

Changing tactics helps to promote engagement of students and keeping the period of time broken into 10–15-minute segments of each teaching style allow each student to resonate with different points of the lesson.

The difference between assessment and how they're received provides a lot of insight in to choosing the right type of test to suit what needs to be evaluated as well as showing how much content is being retained by the student.

Information retention isn't always immediately apparent with the use of CATs and other evaluation methods you can help see what areas and level of understanding your students possess. Which helps you to further tailor the learning experience and give opportunities to develop the habit of advanced thought through application assessments by testing their knowledge via performance.

I find that questions can serve many purposes in the classroom by enhancing the learning experience from furthering conversation and engagement to redirecting disruptive students. This definitely helps to broaden my perspective on how to effectively use questions within my students.

By using multiple type of learning styles to complete lessons you can boost retention rates by 10-15 % by engaging in the student's preferred method of learning. It also allows other students to expand the way they learn by using methods other than visual or auditory to become more well-rounded.
