Coaching/Feedback is a weakness of mine.  Sometimes I let my emotions get the better of me and I don't communicate as clearly as I should.  This course gave me tools to use to help me in those situations. 

 

I will use what I've learned to effectively coach my student, this lesson has added to what I already know. 

Coaching skills are important for the student.

Depending on how you approach coaching it can be very effective, but can be very negative. I learned how to approach it more positively in this lesson.

 

I will consider coaching as an opportunity to foster a positive work culture with my team and cultivate greater job satisfaction and motivation.

knowing when and when not to coach.

 

Better to postpone and observe before diving in.

Coaching should be conducted in the most effective way to ensure that things are being accomplished.

 

Coaching employees to improve performance enhances individual skills and helps them better understand their role in the organization. ... Coaching will help me train my employees to start thinking (and working) with company goals in mind.

I have enjoyed this course.  I feel that coaching is an important part of leadership.  Guiding your employees to be better can only be beneficial for the company, you as the manager, and of course, the employee who is trying to become better at their job.

Coaching sklls are important for anyone in leadership to possess regardless of the profession.  Coaching and providing specific feedback with details help the reciever to focus on actions and not behavior.  Providing detailed examples for receivers to visvualize their performance. Also, followup is key to coachng and feedback.  If you don't followup there is no need to coach. 

 

Most managers don't know how to coach emplyees. But reading this they can learn

Coaching is an effective tool in developing subordinates and co-workers.

Coaching skills takes into account several facets. You need to know what your goals as a company are and help those who report to you learn and grow to the point where the machine (company) runs smoothly.

 

I will learn to be open  to coaching.

 

How you coach an employee has a direct impact on how their performance will be and the production of your team. 

How you coach has a signifant impact on the performance and satifaction of coachees.

In this course I have learned the various levels of coaching in leadership and knowing what technique to use when is crucial to the success of a coahee. 

 

Coaching has always been an effective way to help your direct reports.  I found the class informative in helping others to achieve their goals.
