How to keep up a culture of compliance throughout the year

I think that these items are a wonderful resources to print and refer to in team meetings throughout the year, just to make sure they are always fresh. Does anyone else use these resources during team or department meetings, and if so, what is the best format for engagement? Thanks, Kelly

Program Knowledge

Obviously the prospective student has come to your institution because you have a program that they may be interested. It is very important to know what that program has to offer and how it can benefit that individual.

Knowing who's who

Its very important for the admissions representative to know how each department is there to help and support their students. Knowing what each department does will allow you to know where you can go to for certain questions.

Admissions Requirements

It is very important to know the admissions requirements for your institution. You cannot let your personal opinion on the applicants potential for success hinder the acceptance process.

Creating a Resource Notebook

Creating a resource notebook is a great tool to better yourself as an admissions representative. It will not only allow you to see what you are learning in the course, but also allow you to keep all of your reference material organized for when you need to refer back to it.

Social Media

LikedIn is also a good tools to spread the message about you school!

Placement Services

In my opinion, the placement coordinator should always meet the student BEFORE they begin their program. They are able to set their expectations on the front end so the student knows what to expect by the end of their program. This method seems to be working very well with my school.

Enrollment Agreements

Are social security numbers required on enrollment agreements when your school is accredited?

Training

Do employees who ONLY sell to consumer students need to be up to date on their CEUs? I have several employees who ONLY sell to business clients and not consumer students. They wouldn't be required to take this training, would they?

How soon is too soon?

How soon should it be in determining whether a prospective student would get through the admissions process? e.g. The first initial call or when meeting face-to-face.

UNDERSTANFDING

Also ask for an organization chart. If there is an employee handbook or policies and procedures manual you might find job descriptions there. Also ask for a directory that hopefully includes the name of every employee plus their phone, fax, and email information.
