I am very new to this line of work and find that the resouce notebook is extremely useful. In my resource notebook I have the Enrollment Agreement, my terms, my institutions most recent catalog, my institutions information about accreditation and frequently asked questions and answers about my institutions program(s). I have the Florida Statues, Rules and Title IV information in a separate notebook. I can already tell that this will be my most widely used tool at work.

Hello everyone, I understand that anyone who has contact with a prospective student needs to be certified in this admissions course. What if their only job is to be a receptionist but because of their accessibility to the waiting area they interact with prospective students. Rolling Admissions vs. Application Deadlines

I have worked in Universities with both a set application deadline and with rolling admissions, so no set deadline. There are obviously advantages and disadvantages to both. I was wondering if others had any input on best practices for both options? I have found that Rolling Admissions can be a little more chaotic throughout the year, while having a set application deadline means that things are busy during a window of time, but makes the rest of the year easier due to the ebb and flow.
