Think of blogs as self-published mini articles. Share your experiences and challenges. Share your successful and failed strategies. Share your proven techniques and best practices. And don’t forget to solicit comments from your peers so we can all learn from the collective knowledge and expertise of our thriving community.

Minutia and Detail

This is a big part of the job as the letters of Registration and Approval ensure quality programs. There is a LOT of minutia and details involved.  I would NOT want to do this job alone. An Assistant to verify the work is a requirement.

Keys to Success

As I reflect on the training that was provided, my best practice would be to utilize the keys to success.

1. Fully engage with students

2. Follow procedure and policies

3. Provide clear and informative about programming, expectation of graduation and successes of graduates that have completed the program.

I plan to implement all learning tools to successful assist the potential students that I am working with

How to Appropriately and Successfully be an Admissions Agent

This course was excellent in helping me see where our organization is right on track in regard to compliance and also offered information that I can use to improve our advertising, such as online advertising in appropriate channels such as 'education'. I'm grateful to have been able to complete this course and I look forward to learning more in additional courses offered.

Have fun and explore

Admissions is all about dreams. Help your students dream come true and believe in the process. Never give up!

Great information

I genuinely woke up one day and I decided to use what I’ve been doing for the past eleven years to my advantage. Starting anything new can be overwhelming and it’s nice that the board has this course for new beginners to know the steps that need to be made. It illuminates what’s really important for you to get the basics and then of course go back a read every thing with a fine tooth comb. I appreciate the help and I hope that I can apply for this to my success.

Knowledge Gained For First Time Admissions Representative

This course provided knowledge that is key for a first time admissions representative to know. I bookmarked the sites provided for additional resources.

Just finished the New Director Training

Just finished the New Director Training course and my favorite takeaways were the reminder to continuously review our school documents to ensure they are up-to-date with policies and practices and also to stay in good, effective, open communication with the Board.  I'm excited to get started!

Accreditation

It's wise to know what is required for your school's accreditation so you are able to comply with it.

Consistency and Clarity

I wanted to make sure that I am giving every potential student the same treatment during the admissions process.  Consistency allows for me to stay organized and ensure the student receives the best experience in the Process.  Also, this will allow for clarity or the expectations of the student as well as myself the admissions advisor.

Looking Forward!

I look forward to putting this gained knowledge to good use!

Course Completion

There is always something new to learn. Learning what is needed to stay in compliance helps us understand how the college functions better.

There's always more to learn

There is always more to learn. I valued the information gained from this compliance course. It answered questions I did not even know that I had. Questions about why my academic career as a student was established how it was established. Questions about how I can better support my students throughout their academic career. I can now better support their opportunity for growth and learning - just as my opportunities for growth and learning were supported. Thank you for my corporate compliance training!

Training

This information reinforced much of the legal aspects that I was familiar with from working in  higher education over the years.  This was a good refresher.

Completed Course / Next level

I have been involved in the education portion of veterinary medicine for 15 years. I am excited to elevate to School Director! I have been at the instructor, program chair, and dean levels. I found this course to be informative and very useful! I am starting and developing a brand new Veterinary program that will be like no other institution in Ohio.I am excited for this programs resources and will utilize good practices to see it succeed.
