I learned about the components of the Regulatory Triad, it's importance, and responsabilities.

Understanding the Triad. Accreditors can be categorized into two groups:

institutional accreditors and programmatic accreditors,

 

In reading the information regarding accreditation and regulations, school must follow strict guidelines in order to be in compliance and maintain IV funding.

The role of accreditors and regulatory triad is very important for schools.

I learned about the Regulatory Triad and the different components that make it up. Moreover, the major issues in education that enforces federal laws prohibiting discrimination in programs that receive federal funds. 

Compliance training for faculty positions is crucial for maintaining high standards of ethical conduct and adherence to regulations within educational institutions.

Key takeaways from the training on sustaining the culture and understanding regulatory oversights. Building culture of compliance, understanding regulatory oversight, and importance of training and getting educated.  

Learned about the Triad and types of accreditors for schools. 

The Triad must be adhered to in order for any institution to succeed. 

I learned that the primary roles of a state and regulatory board are to provide authorization for schools to operate and ensure that the schools under its charge are compliant with standards set by state laws 

I learned that the main role of an accreditor is to ensure that member schools are providing quality education through their programs

I learned that federal financial aid can only be approved if an institution is Title IV eligible.

I have learned for graduates to be successfully hired or “placed in field” in certain programs, they must hold the appropriate certification or license. Therefore, the school must also attain the requisite program accreditation.

I've learned that the The Triad of Regulation for the Department of Education consists of three major components: planning, oversight, and enforcement. Planning involves creating policies and procedures to regulate educational programs and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Oversight involves monitoring and evaluating the implementation of these policies and programs. Enforcement involves taking actions against individuals or institutions that violate these regulations. Together, these three components work to ensure the department is effectively regulating the education sector.

I have learned about the Triad of Regulation, which comprises different agencies that play a crucial role in shaping school policies, standards, and accreditation. Additionally, I learned that while accreditation is not mandatory for all schools, it is highly recommended for institutions seeking Title IV funding. Furthermore, the State is responsible for ensuring that instructors meet the necessary credentialing and licensure requirements.

The role of the state regulatory board is to ensure schools are compliant. I intend to follow the guidelines to stay in compliance. 

It is important as a school representative to follow all rules, regulations, and standards. The role of an admissions representative is very important to measure the outcome of graduation and completion rates. There are two accreditors, institutional accreditors and programmatic accreditors. The US Department of Education, administers Title IV funding, to receive funding as a student they must attend a Title IV eligible institution. In a event of not meeting the national standards, the school can face serious consequences. 

The Triad of Regulations is put in place to oversee the education process and to know the outcome of the students in their programs 

It is important to be transparent and provide accurate information.

This is a continuation of compliance and culture of compliance.

Bottom line, the primary roles of a state regulatory board and/or agency are to provide authorization for schools to operate and to ensure that the schools under its charge are compliant with the standards set by state law.
