Post what you've learned about this topic and how you intend to apply it. Feel free to post questions and comments too.

Compliance is truly a cross-functional responsibility. It intersects with all areas: admissions, enrollment, financial aid, registration, and student support!

I learned that it is incredibly important to adhere to compliance regulations and provide factual information to the student.

I learned the importance of following rule and guidelines. I will apply this when meeting with both current and future students, ensuring they receive accurate information to lead them success.

What I have learned thus far is, do the right thing at all times. Stick to facts and be accurate. Do not provide false or misleading information.

I've learned that you must always do right by the student by giving accurate information, never give false information. If you don't know something, it's ok to let perspective student know that you do not know but that you will find out and get back to them.

What I have taken away from this content is that we must always do the right thing.  Always be in compliance always be ethical and upfront with all potential students.  I've learned that we must do both, protect the Institution and the student.

I have learned that it is imperative to follow the established guidelines regarding an Institute of Higher Learning. Not only for ethics, but for accreditation, consumer protection, and reputation as well.

I have learned that there are many policies in place to benefit and protect the student.

I learned that you can be fined just by calling someone on DNC List.

I have learned about what you can and cannot say to remain compliant. This will help me with my business interactions.

setting boundaries and knowing student policy to avoid any future issues

This helped a lot.

One of the key responsibilities while being involved in being in admissions requires us to do the right thing! Be honest, follow the rules and abide by the laws.

I learned the importance of compliance, honesty, and respecting student rights. I will apply this by providing accurate information, following regulations, and maintaining professional and ethical communication.

I learned how we can be fined for calls made to the DNC list

I learned the rules and regulations are in place for a reason and I will comply with them

Yes, this was very informed, and I will be applying it to my day-to-day interaction with Students. Staying compliant with state regulations and also maintaining professionalism with the students is always a must.  Being transparent with the students, and providing them with information to aid them into success, staying positive and common at all time.

I have learned that there is a reason and purpose behind the guidelines the school carries

It's important to communicate professionally and accurately at all times.  We must follow guidelines such as DNC requests and guidelines.  Overall, we must act with integrity and transparency with prospective students at all times.
