keeping everyone involved in a way that is helpful to them will help keep everyone engaged, thus leading to a better learning enviroment for everyone

I thought this was very useful. IT made me think of teaching in a different light.

I learned I should still practice before I demo. I should use this time to make sure that what I am doing is right, but also not worded so technically. I should use language that everyone can understand

Make sure that you introduce yourself and then open the floor for students to introduce themselves. Then lay out clear expectations of what is going to happen. That way students dont get scared because they feel like they have no idea what is happening

Making sure you have a plan to follow while your teaching is important. I plan on using the syllabus as a road map and following that to make sure all the needed info is covered, but also adding other activities to really seal in the information.

I learned that in evolving as an instructor, I'm going to be able to point out my own flaws as an educator. I am not going to get it right 100% of the time, however I need to be ok with someone telling me I'm wrong, and learning from it, and using that to make me a better educator.
