Building relationships with current and past graduates by keeping track of their job placement, asking students for feedback on their experience while searching for gainful employment, keeping a detailed placement log, that includes where the student is working, and other possible opening at that location, using student and employer surveys to gain feedback on placement, graduate performance on the job. ultimately maintaining contact ensures the success of the Career Services Department.

I've learned that the student should include all work experience on their resume, as well as non job skills, like volunteering, if they've be apart of any fundraising opportunities, they should start compiling a list of accomplishments to add to their resume.

Creating a mission statement for the department, collaborating with admissions, education and financial aid as it takes the collective to make the institute successful.

I think it's important to be inclusive, open to change and willing to adapt. Great leaders set the example, their attentive to their team, respect all opinion and give corrective feedback.
