How we feel and the way we reflect it directly affects others, whether positively or negatively. It is important to focus on building a personal relationship with ourselves, to positively influence our work and society.

There are four important types of energy that we require to be successful; physical, psychological, spiritual and family. They all require maintenance and attention to ensure that they are filled properly. If even one of these components is lacking or missing our energy changes and therefore our attitude changes. This change can have a negative impact on both the student and the school.

The key takeaway is having an awareness of self; actions, behaviors and attitudes. An ongoing process.

Energy is contagious just like attitude! Energy management is more important than time management is very interesting!

knowing your purpose in your job role to help open students up to find their sense of purpose in life so they may have a path to follow and feel a sense of full-fillment in their life.

Personal energy is infectious!!

As your energy impacts not only yourself but your students and colleagues, it is important for you to maintain your own energies. Not doing so can lead to imbalances in how you are able to manage your work, relationships between colleagues, and relationships with the students we are trying to assist.

I found the breakdown of the four subtye sof personal energy to be fascinating. I often feel that my energy is off balance and by understanding these dimensions better I can make positive changes.

Your personal energy can affect t others positively or negatively.

Energy Effects the people and atmosphere around you and the workplace

Comment on Ricardo Martin's post: Energy is what keeps us going, Having the right mental state and energy.

Your attitude and energy is translated into the students decision

Keeping yourself together is very important.

The concept of Te Whare Tapa Wha is such an important one to understand and truly practice. The four areas, physical, psychological, spiritual and family all need to be balanced to positively affect your attitude and energy. Your attitude and energy in turn affects those around you, including your students and coworkers.

The idea that energy management is more important that time management is an interesting one. The fact that energy actually impacts the amount of work you get done, while time spent doing work does not necessarily impact the amount of work you get done. This is important to understand and I think at a larger perspective, the idea of salary vs. hourly comes into play. Paying for an employee's time versus an employee's work.

I love the discussion topics in this forum. It helps me know more things, word hurdle especially motivates me to study

This Module has been great for me, it reminds me of the importance of my personal energy and the potencial impact to others. I will try to balance my four forms of Energy on a daily basis.

The module was veryt informative in bringing the issue of personal energy to the fore. Ofteimes we do not think about how our energy affects those around us and we should so that our places of work, home and our our mental state willl be in balance.

Te Whare Tapa Wha I used to hear that before but now I have a better understanding of it. The four-component that summarized>nergy are: physical, spiritual, psychosocial, and family.

Positive energy will help you overcome initial objections and give you an infectious state of mind that will positively influence those around you.
