It is clear that in order to build trust and mainatin high standards we as admission representatives must be honest and transparent in how we deal with students. Not holding back information but informing students so they can make the best decisions that is right for them. 

Learning techniques to help you listen better is an awesome idea. Visualization, framing and other techniques can allow you to really connect with others. 

As a listener understanding your biases and ensuring you listen with you eyes, ears and heart can greatly impact how successful you are in your job.
