Its is an important tool that will shape the learning process in the future
ChatGPT can be a Great tool for students, but many of them tend to use it to avoid their own reflection and learning.
I think it's a great tool for helping with understanding, for lowering reading levels of advanced texts, and for providing more personal education experiences. However, some teachers and students use it as a quick fix for doing their work. I have seen many times people write or copy what AI gives them without reading it, looking into it further, or double checking the accuracy. I also worry people use it to get quick answers without having to go through the process of critical thinking.
Al is really good to help students , but it can be an issue at the time to do their work
One thing I learned about the history of AI is that artificial intelligence has been developing for decades and began as an effort to create computer systems capable of mimicking human thinking and problem-solving.
Machine learning has existed since the 1960-70s. Since the advent of the internet, it has been growing and become more popular. There are basic types of AI such as machine learning, language processing, gaming, and robotics. Chat GPT has become very popular in regards to education as well as personal uses. Chat GPT can individualized learning to a student's style and pace of learning. As AI develops, all types of information will be readily available 24/7 to anyone who is looking for answers. Current AI models will be increasingly refined and provide more reliable information. This will make student learning more accessible and personalized. Additionally, it will be easier for instructors to provide regular substantive feedback to students. Drawbacks include quality of learning and information retention, fake, irresponsible, and illegal uses.
AI is an amazing discovery and tool! But to me I feel we must remember it is just a tool and should be used as such
I would like to use this in with my students. Being more interative.
Society will benefit from easy, on-the-go access to information in school, at home, and in many other settings. People can quickly find reliable information and avoid mistakes at work or in school. However, a drawback is that individuals may rely too heavily on this convenience and neglect best practices, such as doing their own research and reflecting on evidence-based practice (EBP).
I would use it to make interactive learning guides for students
I intent to apply ChatGPT in my nursing teaching for guiding students on looking for scholarly articles with relevant nursing core topics on safety to establish priorities in clinical situations.
Society at large will benefit from handy information, on the go, while at school. at home, and many different settings We can obtain valid information just before making mistakes at work or school. For me the disadvantage is that people will overuse information and avoid bet practices like dong our own research and reflections on EBP.
AI is about creating intelligent machines that can think and "act" like humans.
I am excited about the possibilities of IA for learning as well as for making things easier.
yet, my concerns are about the misuse of the tools, like for creating fake images, videos, news, etc
AI is very interesting and has so many different aspects. I am familiar with ChatGBT but I wasn't aware how it was developed. I have never heard of OpenAI and I am interested in learning more!

I am already pretty familiar with AI, but I liked how the information was organized to describe the different functions performed within itself.
AI has its pro for efficient and easy access to information and knowledge; but lacks effort in individuals learning on their own or questioning accuracy.
AI has many benefits in the educational environment, however there should be caution when using such resources as it decreases students own functioning power, as they become more reliant on technology.
