ChatGPT for use to begin setting up teaching plan. For evaluating learning, ChatGPT can help develop questions.

I learned the difference between Siri and ChatGPT. One use of ChatGPT presented was mental health support services. This concerns me. Since it cannot read emotions, the state of the caller may be missed. Having served on an emergency line in the past, moments matter in getting and/or sending help to a caller.

I appreciate this understandable description of different AI means. There is emphasis on use being free. I do wonder if users come to depend greatly on AI, if down the line a hefty price will be attached as we have seen with viewing apps.

My previous job was teaching in a brick and mortar college with students in residence halls as well as town students. My current employment is in an accelerated university. The discussion of veterans being older than students and other students not having extensive life experiences that veterans have applies better to the brick and mortar students. In the accelerated program I teach in now, I can see veterans fitting in more naturally.

Later when IEPs were discussed, I appreciate the clarification that faculty would ask the student about their IEPs in previous educational experiences as not to violate FERPA.

I care for my 67 year old brother who has CP and is deaf and mute. I get frustrated because I have to tell him to do even daily tasks. I wonder how much this is because of the failure to initiate coming from TBI?

With struggling students, keep in mind that a plethora of reasons such as PTSD may contribute to their poor assimilation of course content. An entry into Drop Out Detective may be indicated to keep other faculty aware of student struggles. If reason for struggle is shared by the student, try to get student connected to appropriate resources.

Be a better active listener without interrupting conversation of others.

Mostly this section was a review as well as a challenge to have a servant's heart.

During an interview, soft skills are recognized and often more important than the degrees or other accolades a person possesses.

In my life, I have met many intelligent persons who can barely make it in life.
