This was such an interesting module. I learned so much about the nuances of ChatGPT and what this whole neural network architecture is. At the same time, knowing about the limitations of ChatGPT was also useful. I would like to keep learning about this wonderful tool and expect to make my teaching better through the use of ChatGPT and for the benefit of my students.

Knowing about chatbots and how they evolved over the years was interesting. I also came to know about different subfields of AI and what they mean. I definitely plan to use ChatGPT and will keep all the ethical principles in mind when using it in my field. Thanks!

It is great to see how AI is expanding in every sector, starting from healthcare to finance to entertainment. In education, one has to stay abreast of all the advancements and emerging trends so that AI can be effectively used. It was interesting to hear about robo-advisors powered by AI algorithms.

This was an interesting module. I learned a lot of information about GANs, Big Data, and quantum computing, which provided me with all the nuances and technical aspects behind AI. Being an educator, one of the things I learned was how to integrate AI into education. It taught me to use AI to enhance rather than replace traditional teaching methods. Secondly, always do a phased implementation, train all the teachers and users, and finally check the effectiveness of AI integration, i.e., whether the learning objectives are achieved or not.

AI can be used in many ways in practice, starting from using it in autonomous driving to selecting the program you want to watch on Netflix, etc., based on customer satisfaction. Similarly, using ChatGPT to respond to my verbal and written responses.  I would like to use AI in education, where I can use AI to give me ideas on how to improve my syllabus, reports, and curriculum overall. Also, providing me with input to polish my ideas, where AI can help refine my language and make my case more convincing.

I really enjoyed learning about AI. Learning about different types of AI and how machine learning works was great. There is so much behind AI. I am excited to know more about this topic. Thanks!

Evaluating the students is important in order to prepare them for their future. As an instructor, when evaluating them, one should use the right methods so that they can demonstrate content mastery.  When grading your students, I also liked the tip of eliminating the use of class participation points altogether and just use the attendance and tardy section for giving them points as participation points could be hard to decide sometimes.

There were a lot of things that I learned in this module. First always need to have Plan B in place if Plan A doesn't work. Doing handouts and worksheets with students can be great tools for active engagement. Also, always break the lesson plan into learning units that are achievable!

How to make effective PowerPoints and considering different senses when teaching students is one of my main takeaways from this course.  Sometimes we only think that vision and hearing are the main senses students learn from, but it is important to consider touch, smell too. I really liked the analogy of drinking the coffee and comparing it with using all the senses. Thanks!

Definitely! Motivation plays a big role and enhances the overall learning process. Students learn with much interest if they are motivated to learn about the topic, and then they want to apply it further in their careers from this overall process. Furthermore, instructor's motivation and enthusiasm toward teaching the content is equally important.
