I learned the importance of understanding the vocabulary used in admissions, keeping a labeled notebook to organize important information, and becoming familiar with the Florida Commission for Independent Education. I also learned that Florida statutes and rules affect all admissions staff. I intend to apply all the I have learned by keeping my information organized, following the appropriate rules and procedures, and using what I learn to better assist students.
