Good afternoon, everyone.
I believe that, as teachers, an effective way to motivate students is to help them connect the course content with their personal goals, whether academic, work-related, or family-related. This gives them a clear sense of why what they are learning is important.
It is also important to teach them how to organize their time. Suggesting or supporting them in creating a calendar of activities, planning ahead, and avoiding leaving everything to the last minute can make a difference in their performance. Without good time management, they can easily feel overwhelmed.
In addition, we must guide them in the proper use of online communication. Netiquette, or rules of respect when interacting online, is key to maintaining a positive and orderly environment.
Sharing basic learning principles with them and warning them about common obstacles, such as procrastination, can help them develop habits that will stay with them throughout their education.
Best regards,
