<p>The responsibility of learning the course material falls on the student while the instructor serves as a mentor. I love this idea of being a mentor to my students. When I think about the college courses in which I learned the most, I notice those were the courses I had a mentor relationship with the professor and not a strict &#8220;professional&#8221; relationship. I learned and enjoyed the most when I felt a connection with the professor and other students. I am looking forward to cultivating that type of relationship with my students! I believe this mentor relationship will encourage a love of learning for years to come &#160;</p> <p>&#160;</p>
