The ability to communicate effectively through on line connections is important in the changing world and requires more than computer literacy. For example, I am able to use the computer along with different programs like excel, ppt, word, microsoft office, email, etc. but lack the skills to be perceived as kind and thoughtful. I often come across as too serious, matter of fact, etc. I personally prefer face to face communication because there is so much to be gained from body language. But that's just me. I didn't really learn anything in this module that I didn't already know and that is why I signed up for learning soft skills and how to teach my students how to be professionals.
