What have you learned from this module and how do you intend to apply it?

When preparing to teach there is a lot more to it than just being familiar with the content if you want to be successful. By focusing on the five major areas: selecting the content (or being assigned to a content), setting up goals, writing instructional objectives to reach the goals, writing a syllabus to lay it out for the students, and deciding how best to present the content in a way that maximizes student learning. In so points it is best to stop and see the situation from the students point of view to assist in everything being clear and concise. Being prepared early with your learning environment set up ready to go is key to starting to build that rapport with the students. All this will assist in starting off with students from day one with a great start.
