First of all, making sure you as an instructor have taken the appropriate steps to set your class up for success. We need to take on the responsibility of going through our course before it begins, so you can plan accordingly for each day. Make sure that everything makes sense and is correct to ensure there is no confusion as the class moves forward. Setting goals for each session for ourselves and students is a great way to keep the class on track and also to see the success of their development. All of these steps must be prepared before the first day of Class. Going over the syllabus is also a very important step to this process.
