Comment on Suzette Phillips's post:
In this module, I learned how social media and technology can be leveraged to enhance teaching and learning. I now understand that these tools are not just for communication or engagement—they can actively support collaboration, personalized learning, and access to diverse resources. For example, platforms like discussion forums, educational apps, and social media groups can create interactive spaces where students share ideas, ask questions, and receive immediate feedback.
I intend to apply these strategies by integrating digital tools into my lessons, encouraging students to participate in online discussions, and using technology to provide supplementary materials and interactive activities. By thoughtfully combining traditional teaching with digital resources, I hope to increase student engagement, foster critical thinking, and make learning more accessible and dynamic.
I’m also excited to see how my peers are using these tools in their own settings to inspire new approaches in my teaching practice.
