Professionalism is great for students to be taught.

It is imperative to teach students to be professional in all aspects of their life. Being professional at work is expected, but it is also important to be professional in all social media platforms.

Professionalism can be developed effectively in the classroom, and CTE is the perfect environment to make this effort relevant.  Just as we adults understand we need to be to work on time, be diligent in our efforts, and provide an exemplary effort in our duties, students can learn and build on these workplace habits in school.  Getting to class on time, doing the work both in class and for homework, actively participating to develop communication and decision-making skills, all are components of building habits that can be lifelong assets for a student's working life.

Habits formed now will lead to habits performed regularly in the future.  Getting good grades and having good attendance are activities that are more than just wanting to do well in school and within the student's social circles, but also are habits that can nurture and develop a strong work ethic and build meaningful relationships and connections in their adult lives.  A strong work ethic, observed by others such as supervisors, managers and colleagues, can also lead to potential opportunities in the future for career advancement, expertise development and camaraderie amongst peers.

Professionalism and Work ethic are essential in any career because they build trust ,respect, and accountability. showing to class on time, communicating clearly, taking responsibility for your mistakes, taking pride in what you do for class work, all will support long term success in the work place and life itself.

Professionalism and work ethic are about consistency, accountability, and attitude—not just rules. I learned that these skills are built through expectations like showing up prepared, meeting deadlines, communicating respectfully, and taking ownership of mistakes. I plan to apply this by setting clear standards, modeling professional behavior, and holding students accountable in realistic, low-stakes ways that mirror workplace expectations.

I learned that professionalism and a strong work ethic involve responsibility, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude. I also learned how professionalism affects relationships, trust, and success in the workplace. I intend to apply this by being consistent, meeting expectations, managing my time effectively, and modeling professional behavior for students and colleagues in all settings.

This has been an ongoing topic since I have entered the work field. Professionalism is important as it affects everyone around you and can make or break a team or trust.

Professionalism is an important skill to be learned. The best way to teach professionalism is by setting a great example.

Professionalism and civility are traits necessary for our students to be successful.  Over emotional, rash decisions can lose a job.

Teaching professionalism through work based learning is a awesome benefit of this program

I intend to discuss how social media plays in many ways in professionalism. What you post and who you follow matters-Your content matters-

I learned that professionalism is about consistency and respect, not just showing up. A strong work ethic means staying reliable and giving my best effort. I plan to apply this by being dependable for my team and keeping a positive attitude, even when things get tough.

Career readiness skills are an important part of becoming prepared to complete employment tasks, but also essential to recognizing what it takes to be professional in the workplace.

Professionalism and work ethic are essential career readiness skills that include being reliable, respectful, and accountable. I’ve learned that modeling these behaviors in the classroom—such as meeting deadlines, wearing appropriate attire, showing up prepared, and communicating clearly can help set expectations for students.

As a teacher it is great to see students have a professional relationship with one another because it shows me that when they are working outside the classroom and representing the CTE section of our high school I have full confidence in them to show what we stand for and what they can accomplish

Professionalism is a crucial skill for both students and advisors. It enables the development of effective communication, foster a strong work ethic, and a positive relation with peers and employers, which are essential for success in career development.

This was an excellent presentation.  I learned that professionalism involves how someone conducts themselves in a professional environment, how their behavior, appearance, and respect for others is vital.

A person's work ethic represents professional character and their dedication to doing a great job as well as being respectful to others and maintaining integrity is important.

Professionalism is about example and attitude. Respect and work ethic are important components to professionalism.

Professionalism could be taught by the CTE instructor to their students by including real-world scenarios and
the of use role-playing activities to teach handling workplace challenges such as resolving conflicts, giving feedback, or dealing with deadlines. Additionally, one could incorporate case studies about workplace professionalism and ethics as well for student analysis and discussion/debate.
