I find this area of different cultures and lifestyles quite a touchy  subject. I'm going to be very frank about this topic.  I personally have the privilege of traveling and have been able to see many cultures , therefore I have an expanded knowledge to be respectful of all.  By that I  also mean I can speak easily  to the CEO to the janitor , with the same way showing respect.  I feel know and this is what I mean about being frank about this subject, it starts from the top meaning being a leader to the bottom , if… >>>

I feel like I learned quite a lot from this class, I see college students in my personal life that are struggling really hard with the transition phase.  It makes the student procrastinate their future by dwelling on the thoughts of their choice career. I find it quite distressing, I feel their anxiousness and I can almost feel their minds spinning.  All I can do in my personal life is try to guide them and see reason to the matter. Its better to have a college education and getting your degree, then if you choose not to do what you… >>>

I believe I show my students professionalism , by the way I talk to them and respond to their questions  as well as the way I dress.   I'm old school and I iron my uniforms before I wear them { a week at a time}, as well as having clean and shiny shoes, with my hair appropriately  worn or placed. I've had fine teachers, mentors,  colleagues that i learned from in the past as well as I love my profession .

I just want to comment that the person I am helping is absolutely  wonderful. and one thing amongst all others is that I need to let students be in charge especially in their safe environment.  That's all I have to say up until now.

How would other people implement this in dentistry? Curious on others opinions.

I learned quite a bit from this course, and intent to address motivation in everyday lessons.

I honestly feel (I'm going to be vulnerable & be honest)  I'm taking baby steps to implement educational technology to my work with the students. I will follow what my peers are doing, because they do it so well.  I come in to help the lead instructor for some hours a day, so I go by their guidance and I follow suit ,

Teamwork is a definite must in the dental field, I plan to implement it by actions speak louder than words.  I show the students by personally going and helping them clean a room and asking for assistance on wiping down the room for the next live patient, after the student taking a FMX  is exhausted and taxed being on a time limit. I go in clear his or hers materials they used, and like I said have someone from the class help wipe  down the room and set it up for the next student , and saying out loud, "room… >>>

I am so enjoying this class, anybody else?

I feel I need to let go of the rein and put the students {or post the students in actual out in the world life scenarios} prior to them bringing a real live patient in, but in my case we do already do these skills we practice on dummies prior to bringing in patients, as well as on themselves. Students practice on themselves in groups of two.
