Enrollment Agreement

Since changes come out often, it is always important to fully read all updated agreements. Although, they may look the same the wording can change slightly each time.

Christopher,
You are right! When enrollment agreements are updated, you need to check carefully.

Patty Aronoff

Absolutely...also make sure that all staff is using the correct/updated forms.

Keeping pace with school and industry changes is important for an enrollment representative to point out to students when choosing an education program. Many student receive mis-leading information from other students, or school representatives and can cause the student to make a poor decisions. The best decision is one made with full disclosure of all the facts, with clear understanding of terms and conditions.

Dominic,
Using outdated forms is a matter of noncompliance whether for the company or the state. We must ensure that all information is current.

Patty Aronoff

Eugene,

Absolutely! This is why we shall be fully transparent and provide information freely to the student.

Patty Aronoff

Reading each agreement thoroughly and keeping that copy in your Resource Book with highlighted changes is a great way to stay updated.

Megan,

Enrollment agreements are part of the contract with the student. The catalog is the second part of the contract.

Patty Aronoff

Very true. The basic structure of an agreement may appear to be the same if one is reading in a cursory fasion, however this shold never be the case. Even the slightest change of verbiage can alter either the meaning or the student's perception of the material and it is there for of vital importance that the representative have extreme expertise of the agreement before attemting to impliment it.

Frank,
It is a legal contract, therefore verbiage is key. You are correct in that one word can change the entire meaning. Also, one missing signature or date can have far reaching impact on the contract.

Patty Aronoff

That is why checking out the statements more frequently than the suggesteed once a month is critical

Israel,
You never know! Being proactive is the key.

Patty Aronoff

In regards to the enrollment agreement if there is any changes such as start date, is it okay to cross the date out and initial or should I do a new one?

Teresa,

You should always create a new one with the correct information and date.

Patty Aronoff

this is very important. When the forms are updated all the staff have must used the updated one so that everyone is the facility can be on the same page.

Aurilus,

You are correct! Using the wrong or old form is a compliance issue. All staff must take due diligence to make sure the correct forms are used.
