Absolutely agree. Leadership really is an ongoing evolution — the moment we think we've "arrived" is usually the moment we stop growing. Tracking our professional development keeps us honest about where we are and intentional about where we're going. Appreciate you sharing this perspective!

Well said. I love how you framed leadership as a daily practice rooted in service, clarity, and consistency — those three words alone could carry any leader through a career. Your point about productive conflict especially resonates with me. Too often we avoid conflict rather than handling it well, but respectful disagreement grounded in data and clear expectations is actually where some of the best ideas emerge. Wishing you well as you build those follow-up routines and create space for continuous learning on your team.

This module brought the entire leadership series together for me. What stood out most was the reminder that leadership is not a destination — it is a daily practice rooted in intention, self-awareness, and genuine care for the people we serve. The Personal Leadership Development Plan is a tool I plan to use regularly, not as a one-time exercise but as a living document that evolves as I grow. Combining my legacy statement, SWOT analysis, and concrete goals gives me a clear roadmap for the leader I want to become. Going forward, I want to keep asking better questions, listening with the intent to understand, and leading with the kind of visible support that inspires others to step into their own leadership. Grateful for this journey and excited to keep walking it out.

What a great way to help identify areas of growth and make a plan to ensure you get there.

Hello,

I learned that leadership isn't a title, but a daily practice based on clarity, consistency, and service: defining priorities, communicating the "why," building trust, and empowering the team to make sound decisions.

I also understood that conflict can be productive if handled with respect, data, and clear rules, and that performance improves when we remove roadblocks and protect time for what truly matters.

I plan to apply this by setting explicit goals and roles, providing frequent feedback, recognizing contributions with intention, and creating routines for follow-up and continuous learning to improve week after week.

A leadership legacy is about more than titles or accomplishments—it’s about the impact you leave on people. It’s reflected in how others felt supported, empowered, and respected because of your leadership. The choices you make, the values you model, and the way you treat others shape a legacy that lasts well beyond your time in the role.

This was a helpful training to be able to produce a plan and then think of how it should be placed into action.

I found this training to be very helpful in developing and refining my personal leadership Development Plan

Utilizing a PLDP is great for putting goals into a concrete plan, and utilizing SMART goals help in ensuring your goals are measurable and attainable.  These are very valuable resources to use.

The PLDP will be a great resource to utilize moving forward.

I learned that I can better assess where my leadership skills currently exist, and create a plan to enhance and improve them while also setting attainable goals for future growth.

Great way to track professional growth and identify areas of opportunities - As leaders we are constantly evolving and learning new ways to successfully lead our Team

The plans included will definitely assist me with my professional growth -

Helpful to develop my PLDP

Helpful reminder about goal-setting.

I really enjoyed learning more about the PLDP tool and how I can use it with my Department Chair for the upcoming semester. In addition, I also liked learning about the ways to use it to help develop our team as well.

There are various tools and resources available to help me become a better leader. The PLDT will help me be more accountable and effective within the department. I can also use this with the team as well.

We need to incorporate more planning and measurement into how we evaluate staff and leaders

I found that this was a great training to help me with a PDLP.
