I have learned that everyone has the ability to mindful and it is deliberated choice to do so. Mindfulness has a positive impact ones overall health and can prevent potential illnesses. Mindfulness is being aware of ones feelings and the surrounding environment and being present during the moment.
I think it is crazy that we have 60,000 thoughts a day! No wonder we need to take a break sometimes.
I get the sence that mindfulness might be increased with a bit of meditation after reviewing the content. I get the impression that we take things too quickly, and slowing down to refocus our thoughts leads to increased midfulness.
Being mindful is being present and aware of where you are
We all need to practice mindfulness and learn how to filter out the negative aspects of our environment. Learning mindfulness will impact both our physical and mental health.
mindfulness and 4x4 breathing
Mindfulness is useful to manage stress using techniques that work to solve problems.
Take the time to allow the student to complete assignments one at a time.
I have learned the importance of understanding and managing stress to maintain mental and physical health. The module highlighted how stress can impact various body systems and the necessity of building emotional resilience to cope with life's challenges effectively. Techniques such as mindfulness, problem-focused coping, and fostering solid social connections were emphasized as critical components for enhancing emotional resilience. I intend to apply these strategies in my daily life by incorporating regular mindfulness practices, actively seeking support from my social network, and employing problem-focused coping strategies to tackle stressors directly. These approaches will help me maintain a balanced and healthy outlook, enabling me to navigate stressful situations more effectively and improve my overall well-being.
I have learned that stay in the present wherever you are, and stop thinking about the past or the present especially when you are talking with someone. Take breaks to relax and do deep breathing exercises, and you can assist students in mindfulness to reduce stress and anxiety.
By practising mindfulness, we are more in the present and can improve how we think and stay on task easier.
I learned that I need to become mindfull at work. I need to slow way down and try and focus on one task at a time. I also need to become more aware of when I am feeling stressed and take a minute to stop, breathe and reconnect with my brain.
Focus on one task at a time. Close e-mail when working on specific tasks to reduce interuptions.
Studies show how you stress can have a similar impact on your physical health.
I learned that mindfulness affects your physical and mental health. I will practice being more mindful by paying full attention to things rather than always multitasking. Just really paying attention and taking the time to slow down and focus.
Mindfulness is a constant practice that requires active and intentional energy but the positive effects can be great.
Mindfulness is important to slow things down and smell the flowers so to speak. I like the 4 x 4 breathing technique myself.
Mindfulness is is to use your mind in the present
MIndfulness is simply paying attention and focusing on the present moment.
