Lesson Plans

Lesson Plans are very effective, and helps the class run according to schedule. Students who comment too much, can be silenced for the sake of time and time asking questions are limited and extended to after class.

I agree, I have to have a lesson plan or a lease a version of one in my calendar for all of my classes. This helps me be organize and to offer my best for my students. I can look back over my calendar and see what I had schedule and can build off it and grow.

Reply to shantana robinson's post:That's a great idea!  I will start inputting my lesson plans into my calendar starting with my next term, as it does offer a way to definitively look back at previous lesson plans, etc.  Thanks!

Many of our students today have very chatoic personal lives. I would go so far as to say that sometimes things are not just chaotic but downright scary at home for some of our students.

The more you can be organized, show students what's about to happen, and even check off items as they are completed - the more you can provide that orderly environment where they can learn and thrive.
