Being a good instructor
Being a good instructor means to be open, supportive, interactive, honest, and willing to listen and learn from your students. Not everything is one sided, we have to not only teach our students, but if we pay attention to our classes they can teach us new ways to look at our subject matter.
I think that teaching can happen on both sides of the classroom.
i often have students show me new ways to teach lessons as well as new ways to notice what individual needs of the students are.
Learning should be interactive, instructors need to show they can learn along with the students.
Teaching is always happening and it does not have to be the students. Both sides learn in the classroom and outside of the classroom.
